Have you heard about sea grapes? I just learned about it. It looks like grapes, pops in your mouth, tastes like a seaweed and compliments beautifully raw seafood dishes and salads. They come salted in a bag and it takes only 2 minutes soaking in water to get them ready to eat.
This crudo is full of flavor and textures. This time I made with tuna, but you can use sushi grade salmon, scallops or any other sushi grade seafood.
Tuna Crudo with Sea GrapesCourse: Appetizers
Let’s make it
- In a platter lay thinly sliced tuna.
- Pour ponzu sauce from the side so tuna will be touching ponzu just from the bottom.
- Lay Crunchy garlic, green onions, chili on the tuna.
- Lay sea grapes on the top and serve immediately.
