Looking for a light, quick and delicious seafood dinner or lunch idea? I got you covered!
It’s very simple dish, but the sauce is the boss which makes it very tasty.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of baby arugula

  • 1 tuna steak

  • 4 tbsp. of roasted sesame seeds

  • For the sauce
  • 2 tbsp. of wasabi powder

  • 2 tbsp. of smoked soy sauce (You can use regular if you don’t have smoked one)

  • 3 tbsp. of ponzu sauce (citrusy Asian soy sauce dressing) or use lemon juice if you don’t have it

  • 6 tbsp. of melted butter

Let’s make it

  • Mix all the ingredients for the sauce and keep it aside.
  • Roll the tuna steak into sesame seeds.
  • Preheat the skillet with a little bit of oil to very hot and quickly sear tuna from all sides. Approximately 30-45 sec per side.
  • Slice tuna on a little bit of angle into thin slices (~1 cm or 1/4 of the inch).
  • Place arugula on the plate and arrange the tuna on top.
  • Drizzle generous amount of sauce all over arugula and tuna.
  • Enjoy!
