Are you tired of dry and bland chicken? Look no further! With just a few simple steps, you can have the juiciest and most flavorful chicken thighs right in your very own kitchen. And the best part? It’s all made in an airfryer!
That’s right folks, say goodbye to the hassle of heating up your oven and hello to a quick and easy cooking experience. Not only is air frying a healthier alternative to traditional frying methods, but it also saves time and makes clean up a breeze.
Now, let’s get down to the good stuff. Here’s what you’ll need:
The Secret to the Juiciest Air Fryer Chicken Thighs! 🐓😋
8 chicken thighs, bone in and skin on
1 tbsp lemon pepper
1 tsp sea salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried marjoram
1 tsp dried basil
A few springs of fresh thyme or 1 tsp of dried thyme
2 tbsp avocado oil
1 tbsp honey
1/2-1 orange juice
1 lemon juice
1 tsp ground fennel seeds
1 tbsp sweet paprika
1 tsp Szechuan pepper flakes
Let’s make it
- Mix seasoning together with orange and lemon juices, oil and honey. Add thighs and marinate for couple of hours or over night.
- Preheat the airfryer to 375°F and let it preheat for about 5 minutes. This is important to ensure that your chicken cooks evenly and crispy.
- Tuck the thighs like in a roll (watch my video on that) and add to an airfryer. Cook for 15-20 minutes or until nice caramelization. Flip and continue cooking until it reaches 170 F internal temperature. I use Meater thermomether, which is wireless and fits perfectly in an airfyer. If it browns too much (honey is the reson), you might want to reduce the temperature to 350 F to finish cooking.
- Serve with your favorite side dishes and enjoy!
