minutesIngredients
8 chicken thighs, bone in and skin on
1 tbsp lemon pepper
1 tsp sea salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried marjoram
1 tsp dried basil
A few springs of fresh thyme or 1 tsp of dried thyme
2 tbsp avocado oil
1 tbsp honey
1/2-1 orange juice
1 lemon juice
1 tsp ground fennel seeds
1 tbsp sweet paprika
1 tsp Szechuan pepper flakes
Let’s make it
- Mix seasoning together with orange and lemon juices, oil and honey. Add thighs and marinate for couple of hours or over night.
- Preheat the airfryer to 375°F and let it preheat for about 5 minutes. This is important to ensure that your chicken cooks evenly and crispy.
- Tuck the thighs like in a roll (watch my video on that) and add to an airfryer. Cook for 15-20 minutes or until nice caramelization. Flip and continue cooking until it reaches 170 F internal temperature. I use Meater thermomether, which is wireless and fits perfectly in an airfyer. If it browns too much (honey is the reson), you might want to reduce the temperature to 350 F to finish cooking.
- Serve with your favorite side dishes and enjoy!
