This sauce is pure addiction LOL. It’s great with any meat, fish or vegetables. Use as a spread or dip or as a marinate to marinate meat or poultry.
Toum | Lebanese garlic sauceCuisine: Lebanese
1 cup of peeled garlic
1 tbsp. of sea salt
3 cups of flavorless vegetable oil
1/4 cup of fresh lemon juice
Let’s make it
- Bring all the ingredients to room temperature.
- In a food processor blend garlic and salt together to the paste.
- Gradually, alternating in a thin string add lemon juice and oil. DO NOT rush the process. Just take your time and add very very slowly. You have to get a creamy thick consistency. If it gets too thick, just add a tablespoon or so water.
- Serve and enjoy!
- You can keep in the refrigerator in air thigh container for up to 3 weeks.
