Fancy caprese salad on the stick
Difficulty: EasyCaprese salad is a simple Italian salad, representing Italian flag: green, white and red. It is made of mozzarella, tomatoes, basil and balsamic vinegar, olive oil. Traditionally it’s served on a plate layered everything around and sprinkled with some salt and extra virgin olive oil. I like to twist it, take it to another level and make it even more prettier putting everything on the stick! It looks very representative and tastes great!
Ingredients
2 Mini mozzarella balls for each skewer
2 Cherry tomatoes for each skewer
1 Basil leaf for each skewer
Bamboo skewers
Let’s make it
- Put on the skewer in order mozzarella ball, cherry tomato, basil leaf, mozzarella ball and cherry tomato.
- Put on a plater and drizzle with balsamic glaze.
- Enjoy!
