Tuna tartar deliciousness for a date night appetizer
Difficulty: EasyPlanning a date night at home? Great! Here is an idea for appetizer:
This is very delicious appetizer which our family loves. It’s very quick and easy dish. You can chop all the ingredients a few hours in advance and you will be left just to mix everything together.
Ingredients
2 cups cubed sushi grade tuna (below is the info how to make a sushi grade fish at home)
1/2 cups of sliced green onions
3 tbsp. sesame oil
4 tbsp. of soy sauce
2-3 tbsp. sriracha sauce (depends how spicy you like)
1/2 lime juice and zest
1 tbsp. of roasted sesame seeds
2 tbsp. of garlic, very finely minced (I do not recommend pressed or grated garlic for this dish, because it will add more creaminess and will effect the flavor)
2 tbsp. of fresh ginger, very finely minced
2 avocados, cubed
Let’s make it
- Mix all the ingredients together, top with 2 cubed avocados and serve with deep fried wonton wrappers, which you can fry a few hours in advance.
- Enjoy!
